ASSEMBLY from design to function.

In the wonderful world of mechanical engineering, when we talk about assembling parts or fasteners, we don't all have the same image in mind. So let's be precise.

At Massard, assembly is a matter of historic trust. In fact, over 80% of Massard's assembly customers have been with the company for over 40 years - no mean feat.

This trust has been built up over time, and is based on the well-known triptych: Price, Quality, Service - but not only that.

Particularly appreciated by R&D and Development departments, at Massard you'll find the expertise to advise you in the development of your innovations.

Our teams are here to listen to your needs and do everything possible to support your project.
Assemblies are often designed to fulfil a specific function. In other words, once your mechanical parts are assembled, they form a functional sub-assembly designed to perform a specific role.

At Massard, these functions are often called safety functions, and as always, they accompany us in our daily lives, discreetly but surely.

We advise you on the design of your small sub-assemblies using our CAD design resources, and manufacture them directly from our offices to the workshop using our CAD/CAM system.

In this way, we guarantee traceability for our customers, which is essential when it comes to the safety function.

At Massard, ASSEMBLY is all about tailor-made solutions.

Our expertise in assembling your mechanical parts and fasteners is obviously linked to our know-how in the workshop. As the Massard company is particularly well known for its studs, thread rolling and customer stock management, the Assembly activity completes our ancestral activities.

From a first part, then two, then three, to more complex sub-assemblies...our customers appreciate our just-in-time delivery capability on their annual open order.

The same applies to the quantity, size and type of parts we assemble, which are often correlated with our production resources, but not exclusively.

In fact, when it comes to quantity, our area of expertise for the assembly of your mechanical parts and fasteners ranges from 10 to 1,000 parts. Depending on the size and type of room, we adapt to your needs.

Sometimes bordering on the "mini" mechanical (see photo), we are also able to respond to larger sizes.

Dedicated resources for assembling your mechanical parts

To fully meet our customers' expectations, Massard has a workstation dedicated to the assembly of your mechanical parts.

We also invest in tooling specific to your needs, such as a crimping press.

Finally, it's not uncommon for your needs to also require you to master the purchasing and inventory management of more standard parts and components such as nuts, washers, springs, etc...

In short, you'll have understood that at Massard, the assembly of your mechanical parts and fasteners is a perfectly mastered subject!
