200 years of industrial history driven by the women and men of Massard
March 27, 2026, will remain a significant date in the history of Massard & Cie.
To mark 200 years of expertise, the company brought together clients, partners, and teams for a moment that was both symbolic and forward-looking. A day dedicated to transmission, recognition, and industrial continuity.
An industrial history built over time
Since 1825, Massard & Cie has followed a rare trajectory: that of a company that has successfully navigated through the ages by adapting without ever compromising its core values.
From the manufacture of locks at its beginnings in Monistrol to the technical turned parts produced today, each generation has contributed to the company's evolution with high standards.
Artistic ironwork, production for the military industry, development of technical studs, custom parts, modernization of industrial tools...
This capacity for continuous adaptation is at the heart of the Massard identity.
But beyond technical evolutions, one element remains constant: the commitment of the women and men who bring the company to life.
A day to celebrate and share
The 200th-anniversary event was designed as a time for meeting and exchange. Following the guest reception, workshop tours provided an immersive look at the core business: machinery, industrial organization, quality requirements... all elements that concretely reflect Massard's expertise.
The retrospective and the speech by Xavier Bonche, President of Massard, then revisited the major milestones of this family and industrial history, while opening a clear perspective on the years to come.
The moment was extended over a cocktail reception in a convivial spirit, faithful to the company's culture of proximity.
A site evolving to support the future
This anniversary was also marked by the inauguration of the site extension.
With an additional 800 m² dedicated to industrialization, Massard & Cie strengthens its capacity to support clients in their projects, from the development phase through to series production.
This new space, which is fully operational, is part of a clear objective:
to continue an industrial history by adapting it to the requirements of today and tomorrow.

Labor Medal: recognizing the careers that build the company
Because this history is above all a human one, the event provided an opportunity to honor several employees through the presentation of labor medals.
Careers spanning 20, 30, and sometimes 40 years within the company were recognized.
These are examples of commitment and loyalty that illustrate the strength of the Massard collective.
In a few months, the company will also celebrate the retirement of its longest-serving employee, who spent his entire career in-house. A career that illustrates the loyalty and strength of the collective at Massard.

We had the pleasure of honoring our employees for their seniority and their essential contribution to the life of the company:
